On Saturday September 28th we will be holding a Strategy event, AGM and a social – and everyone involved with the 1st is invited to attend one, two or all three of these events, as they wish!
The Strategy event will run from 1pm to 5pm and is intended to be a chance for everyone to get together to explore group-wide challenges and aspirations. We’ll be looking at our digital, volunteering, leader training and programme ambitions, but we’re also keen to hear about any ideas and ambitions you want to discuss too. We’ll then run a short AGM between 5.30pm and 6pm. As trustees, the Exec is required legally to share information about our finances and governance with all Leaders, Members, Parents and others who make up the Group Scout Council. We’ll be sending out a Trustee Report and a Finance Report separately. We will also be electing and re-electing Committee Members.
We are still looking for a new chair to replace Dave Kesby, who will be stepping down at the AGM.
